We started our journey in Ybbs at 10:22 am. The first part of our adventure was also the first time we had some troubles. When we arrived at Vienna main train station our train was defect and we were stuck exactly one station before our first destination – the airport. Therefore, we had to look for another train and caught it just in time.
Right after our check-in we finally boarded our plan and we were ready for take-off, but some flight controllers in France thought it would be funny to strike. After an hour of insufferable waiting-time we got the permission to leave the airport and fly right into our approaching adventure.
We met with the owner of the apartment at about 6 o’clock and he gave us the keys for our new home for the next three weeks. As soon as we saw the flat we noticed that he had a great photographer – it wasn’t what we had expected but still good.
With our great sense of direction, we made our way to the next supermarket – luckily, we found a SPAR – to fill our fridge and later as well our stomachs.
And now we are writing this blog post and are enjoying a Magnum Mini ice cream.
